Yahoo answers, better than the library?

Reply:uhhh it depends on who you're asking. Sometimes, i just dont wanna answer, or i dont really know and i dont want to just say idk. Sometimes they are too weird... but yeah. It honestly could be any of those. :*)

i say no, of course not! especially what questions i come a cross,or answers i get, i can come from asking a question thinking they think the same as me. to thinking...hmmmm am i the one with the problem then lol, remember yahoo answers is from all the world so i dont take it to seriously although i do take some advice on board :)

I am trying to research the history on a 100 year old house I just bought. For that, I think I'm going to have to do it the old fashioned way.





But for just about everything else it's great.

But no, Yahoo Answers is not better than the library. The library's sources can easily be validated; You have no clue who is answering questions here, so there is no way to know (aside from further research) whether the sources or answers are credible or correct.

Reply:you have a really bad choice to vote from. a bunch of kids on yahoo answers hardly substitutes for what a library has to offer.

Reply:Yahoo answers, can never be better than the library, they are just much straight foward answers from yahoo than from the library, but remember for us to get the answers or to answer some questions, we must have spent a few hours in the library to have the knowledge to answer "Library related " questions egschool stuff, and all that, esle the library of life gets to give us more sources to yahoo answers.
