I got this error on accessing my hard-drive?

Microsoft visual c++ library runtime error

Abnormal program termination

C:\windows\explorer.exe

I got this error on accessing my hard-drive?
It means that the explorer.exe program crashed due to some piece of information that's incorrect when you run it, rather than bad programming. This can be caused by a number of things such as virus or spyware infection or just a damaged piece of code, which can happen just be basic usage. The explorer.exe program is the shell for Windows, it's the actual program running when you open My Computer or your hard drive folders. If you're getting that error you can try running a Windows update, which may fix it. If that doesn't work you'll have to get the PC to a technician to try and replace the file with a working version and may have to reinstall Windows.
