Most certainly C. A is a subset of B because all elements of A are elements of B ("some books" falls under the category of "all books"), and your library does not contain all the books in the world (I hope) so A is a proper subset by definition. Therefore, the answer is C.

M4a itunes purchased files doesn't show up in windows library ?

These m4a files are protected,when i go into my documents\settings folder in my c drive ,can't convert them to mp3 either when i use program to remove protection from them.i'm using a trial version DRM removal software.

You can't convert protected files to mp3. That's why they're called "protected files". But there's a way around this. From itunes take all your m4a files and put them in a new playlist and make a CD. Be sure your settings are set to make an audio CD. After you make the CD you import the CD to itunes but make sure your import settings are set to import using mp3 encoder. Now those m4a files are mp3.

I am using Borland C++ 5.5 compiler. I wrote the code and I added #include <graphics.h>,an error displayed

The error says" Unable to open %26lt;graphics.h%26gt;". Is there a missed "graphics" library in the Borland compiler?

I installed "graphics.h" from another site, but more errors appear especially in this library:(

C++ fstream help?

First off im not even sure if the function im looking for is in the fstream library. What I'm trying to do is make a program that fetches lines from a textfile and writes them to a separat string for each line. Lets say i have a 3 line text file that looks like this

hello

whats up

nose

i want the program to write line 1 "hello" to a string, and line 2 to a different string, and so forth, how would i do this?

C++ fstream help?
Do you want to store each line for later processing, or do you want to just print out what's in the file, one line at a time?

Copying music from my computer library to CD-RW.?

I have copyed 4 tracks from my computer to a CD-RW. I can play it back on my computer but it won't play back on any of 3 C D players in the house.What have I done wrong or not done that I should have done?

Reply:Some CD players won't play RW type of CDs, they will only play R types. There should have been an option at the start that lets you choose if you want to play it on other CD players other than your PC. Try burning a whole lot of songs at the one time onto an R CD, then playing it on another CD player to see if this works.

c or d. Whenever you randomize based on the NOW timestamp, you will get a true random number. This is especially true in a multi-processor environment, where you are seeking an array of random numbers, and multiple processes are interrupting your array building procedure.

But no, Yahoo Answers is not better than the library. The library's sources can easily be validated; You have no clue who is answering questions here, so there is no way to know (aside from further research) whether the sources or answers are credible or correct.

The error message seems to indicate the path of the install either doesn't exist, or doesn't have enough free space.

You could make sure the drive as enought free space, and/or simplify the install path.

Windows Media Player 10 Library location?

Does anyone know where Windows Media Player 10 stores its libary information? I lost my C: drive and I have a backup but I don't know where the data is except that it's supposed to be stored with the user.

EDIT: I have found the media library file. You need to Display Hidden Folders first. Next go to Documents and Settings, your User Name, Local Settings, Application Data, Microsoft, Media Player. In this directory are the data files you need. Copy them into the same location on your new installation or user name and it will work fine

I would like to point out that if you are worried about meta-tag, it should be stored with the audio file itself. When you edit ID3 tags they will show up wherever the file is used. However, library features like Rating, Mood and Play Count are not stored with the file.

Well I've never used frostwire and I try to stay away from itunes, but from what it looks like, there is one of 2 problems:

1) frostwire is telling itunes it is sending it a podcast instead of a file, or else itunes thinks it's getting a podcast for some strange reason. You might be able to fix that with a setting in frostwire.

2) it should be file://c/ etc (two slashes after file:, not one) that is the proper format for a local file URL.

Okay. I've started all over. Thinking I could use an orb to get past it... but you can't. Aaargh! I'm so frustrated. I have followed directions exactly. I get the lighter, the belt, the circuit board, and the knob. I put the circuit board into the computer, place the knob in, put the belt on. Then I put a log on fire, light it, and then power up the computer via lowering the knob. It then gives me 2 coordinates. Say for example C/H. I go to the book sets, click on the the set of C, get the cooridinates %26amp; go to the map. I click on those coordinates, but it says "nothing happens". I click on H coordinates on the map, and again it says "nothing happens". Am I not doing something right? Is there a bug somehow caused by certain operating systems? I am very frustrated. I would really like to get past this freaking board! Is that the same steps others have followed.... or have you done it differently? I would like to add that I've tried a million combinations of all these actions, plus I'm a little curious that the lighter is still active. USUALLY an item is no longer active after it's fulfilled its use. Is it possible I've somehow missed a step? Any help would be SO GREATLY APPRECIATED! thanks!

You have to do both coordinates at the same time. For example, if C is 23 and H is 493. You need to find 23, 493 on the map and then click on it.
Reply:i found the solution to the library question regarding the map coordinates not working. i too was also searching for one coordinate at a time, clicking it and getting the "nothing happens" result. But i finally figured out what i was doing incorrectly. i'll use the book coordinates i had in my game as an example: book D, -136 and book K, 44S. i looked for the first coordinate and found it on the map, but instead of clicking it, i started sliding the pointer around in the area of the first coordinate, -136. i noticed then that if i was careful and stayed in that area, a second coordinate number would come up after the first one, separated by a comma, e.g. -136, 44s. It wasn't exact, not until i carefully scrolled around until i got the exact coordinates i needed. The trick is to get both coordinates at the same time, not one at a time. When you begin to see two coordinates listed at the same time, then you can scroll around until you find the two you need simultaneously; then you can click it and have it work. It won't work otherwise. If you have just the first one, scroll around until you see a second one come up next to the first one. After that it's just a matter of narrowing it down until you find the ones you need specific to your clues.

I'll summarize the two solutions you have. The first, and recommended for beginners to C++, is to avoid cin and use getline instead. The other way is cin.ignore(numeric_limits%26lt;streamsize%26gt;::m... '\n').

But I don't think that is your problem here. It looks like you are using the JavaScript compiler, not the Java compiler. Java and JavaScript are not the same thing at all!

You should download the latest Java developer's kit from http://java.sun.com and use the "javac" command contained therein to compile your Java code.

I could be wrong, but I previously thought the bulk of Firefox was created in Java. If you want to create GUI apps on Linux, you'll have to find the API for the X windowing system used (KDE or GNOME).

Open iTunes and go under Preferences. Under the advanced tab, change the default location to your external hard drive. Then go up to Advanced %26gt; Consolidate Library. This moves everything to the external hard drive but it creates a copy. Then delete the iTunes Music folder from your internal hard drive once you verified that it successfully copied over. I have been promised by wikipedia that this website (http://isbndb.com/c/Library_Shelves/Dewe... will do just that, but when I input an ISBN number, I don't see that it shows the Dewey decimal number anywhere. Any other websites you know that will give this information would be great.

Check out http://jonesboroinfo.net look in the bookstore area and you will find links there also you may try http://www.oclc.org, this is On-line Computer Library Center based in Columbus Ohio. If you can't search OCLC then submit to them and they should be able to offer answers.
Reply:University libraries and your more attentive public libraries will have on their on-line card catalog a "deatiled" or "staff view" when you look at an entry for a particular book. You local librarian should be able to help, as sometimes the staff view can be particularly meaningless if you don't know the Library of Congress orders of information.

The only caveat to this advice is that the library has to have the book in order for that information to be there.

Perhaps the best information is available via the Library of Congress itself, as their catalog provides ISBN, Dewey, and LOC numbers under the tab "Full Record" when you find your book. Check that out, yo!

Please help me with this code?

I need to write a c library ( pseudocode for now ) that will : invert the pixels in an image whose name is supplied on the command line. The function will IMPORT a 2-D pixel array and EXPORT the resulting 2-D pixel array via the function mechanism. Can someone help me get started , I have no clue how to design thisin pseudocode. Thanks a lot for your help

I'm assuming this is just a simple 2D array of pixels where and NxM array consists of a color at a given coordinate. Nothing fancy.

Convert image to N x M array;

From here, are you inverting horizontally/vertically/both????

If flipping on the Y axis, just reverse the N (x) values.

if the array is

[4 3 2]

[7 3 4]

[1 4 6]

Just make

[2 3 4]

[4 3 7]

[6 4 1]

I don't think you need me to tell you to reverse a list. Pretty straight forward from here.

Hey there. If you trying to make a quiz then your answer whould be B, however if you really want an answer then the answer is LOL

E) use search engines like google, but ALWAYS use KEY WORDS. And when searching for information try to avoid forums

I do think that aesthetics is important to the design according to your potential client because we "Do" judge a book by it's cover. The aesthetics is the "first impression" you give to your clients. So would you feel O.K about having important treatments performed in a shady run down hospital, even if it has some of the best doctors in the world, I wouldn't...I think design can effect people on a subconscious level. Given that I would say.

I think these first three are a close tie, I had trouble putting them in order.

I don't understand whether Jabber or Google Talk provide free VoiP or not. What exactly do they provide in terms of VoiP (not interested in text msgs)

Jabber is merely a protocol for text chat (not your interest)...

Google Talk on the other hand is a voice chat application program, much like Yahoo Messenger, that provides free calls to other GTalk clients (or at least with clients that are compatible with GTalk ). It uses the Google's open source libjingle library (http://code.google.com/apis/talk/index.h... to provide the VoIP features.
Reply:Google Talk is absolutely free to use. I've been using it for about 2 years now. It works very good. It even works well over dial-up connections (very important for dial-up users).

they're always trying to fakely fool people like they're really being equal harassing celebs, come on, guess because celeb doesn't mean have high level corrupt connections, these wealthy girls in houston (harris county, last name Dunn) convicted of armed robbery gave probation and have to shelve books in a/c library and tutor, how come they don't mow lawns? like a david medina corrupt district judge put by rick perry and bush failed breathalyzer fake trial and dropped case; also a fed issue, robert blake's attorney even said county jails worse conditions and rights (worse for health, fed issue) than state and federal pens (hot checks worse crime than state or fed felonies), as anyone knows if Paris Hilton was related to a corrupt cop (child, relative or friend) wouldn't have even been charged as well as jailed, cops' kids worst delinquents and drug dealers (pushers) and notorious criminal offenders, that's a proveable fact

F*** Paris Hilton. She's not above the law. I live in So Cal, and expect the legal system to protect me from all ******* endangering people like me who have kids in our car and do not wish to be slammed into by some drunk or reckless driver. I don't care who she is - get her asss off the road if she can't obey the law.

She had been given basically anything she wanted and it's likely that there were very few boundaries set for her.

When people raised like this get out into the real world, they usually bump their heads against the walls of constraint a few times before they learn that the rules apply to them, as well.

Does anyone remember a few years ago when she was arrested, sent to rehab, etc? She was acting like a "Bad Girl" to the inth degree.

Her behavior was largely due to the fact that she was drinking in night clubs at the age of 9 years, snorting cocaine, and who knows what else.

People who are not blessed with parents who love them enough to teach them right from wrong are to be pitied, not ridiculed. They have no idea of how to love and look after themselves.

Drew Barrymore is no longer practicing self-defeating behaviors, as far as I know.

I hope Paris Hilton will be able to say the same in a few years,too.

Reply:Ms. Hilton doesn't seem to mind the spotlight on her when she is dancing at some club or partying it up with other celebrities. But when that spotlight catches her breaking the law, she complains. She doesn't mind it when hot young male stars come on to her, but when a low life cop tries to take his shot at her, she claims harassment.

She is learning the lesson that one needs to take responsibility for their actions when one is a publicity hound. She should accept the role that has been given her this time....a lesson for young girls that acting irresponsibly and breaking the law and endangering other lives by driving while drunk will be punished.
Reply:I don't feel that she's being harrassed because of who she is. She violated her probabtion. She's claiming that she didn't know that her license had been suspended but that's not an excuse. She signed the citation stating that her license was suspended. It was her responsibility to read the citation and she didn't. She relied on second hand information from her publicist who turned out to be wrong. I think it's great that celebrities are finally learning that they can't do whatever they want and get away with it because of who they are. They are being treated like regular people which is what they are and that's how it should be.

And do you think someone really needs a publicist to tell them when their license has been suspended? She's not being harassed. If anything, she has gotten preferential treatment for too long. Reply:I don't believe so. No one has ever said that "justice" is just. She may be the victim of the legal system, but no more than millions of others are. That she has a high profile has nothing to do with her crime. If the authorities let her off with a slap on the wrist, it would be seen as just another famous rich person that exerted her fame and money to skip over the charge. Prosecutors, police, and politicians all know which side of their toast is buttered. If they let her go, they will be drawn and quartered politically.

Reply:The prosecutors may be harassing Paris Hilton, and they may not be, that is not my concern though it is your question. She broke the law repeatedly and deserves even worse. Money doesn't make you above the law even though it can buy you a defense that gets you off for even murder. Unfortunately I think she and her family over-estimated their clout and didn't bother to initially purchase her the getting out of this mess power she needs. Let's face it, they do have enough money to buy her out of this, our so-called justice system has proven this time and time again, they are just a bit late and the first attorney wasn't a professional for this type of case. Another bit of arrogance on the Hilton family part as they didn't even feel they needed to be properly covered in their initial legal defense and trounced into court with an attorney who didn't even specialize in this type of case. The whole thing is laughable, but how would she and they feel if she had killed some innocent people with her driving under the influence in the first place?

I am not sure, but another entertainer was recently arrested for dui with the same blood alcohol level and they said 6 months in jail off the bat and she is rich, she just isn't Hilton WEALTHY.

Where is the justice in either sentence? Could I go to court and tell the judge I thought my P.R. person was going to take care of my responsibilities and that would make it alright....I think not!

I will pray for the Hilton family, especially poor sheltered Paris who didn't even have the gumption to admit her faults and accept responsibility for her actions and/or her lack thereof. What a role model for our youth? It truly saddens me for all of us.
Reply:Make her serve her 45 days, hard labor, bite orange jump-suit, that says ..I am a drunk-driver, make her sweat in the hot sun, no frills, 12 hour days, no protective custody, and donate 1 million, dollars to victims of drunk drivers, parole for 5 years license suspended for 7 years, make an example out of her, sense she like the spot lite so much, no mercy, she a spoiled brat.
