What are the chances I have HIV or Hep A,B,C?

What are the chances I have HIV or Hep A,B,C?

I have had no sexual experiences, never used drugs, never had a blood transfusion, and was not born with it. I have been vaccinated for hep b.

I do, however, work in a library where I sometimes process materials that could potentially have dried body fluids on them (like blood and maybe semen?). Do you think this puts me at risk for the diseases I mentioned?

What are the chances I have HIV or Hep A,B,C?
SunkenShip rules! What kind of library do you work in exactly? I mean, what are the people doing with their books? Using them as toilet paper? Emergency condoms? WTF????? Are you actively seeking out the dried body fluids? How would you come into contact with the dried body fluids? Do you like, lick the books or what? How do you know the body fluids are there? You sound like a hypochondriac and you are probably the dumbest librarian on the planet. Frankly, I am not surprised you have had no sexual experiences, and am wondering why on earth you would ever imagine or worry you have any of those diseases!
Reply:ummm, only if the bodily fluids are very fresh, and you happen to have an open wound on the areas you're working with them could you contract it. Even then, its unlikely.
Reply:it is impossible to have aids in this manner you have to be very very very very unlucky that means you have to have a big open wound and on the other hand the fluid should be in a liquid form otherwise you cannot get it.

Dont panis just relax.
Reply:If you work in a library, I would hope you would be smarter than to ask such a brazenly stupid question like this.
Reply:I'm not a Dr. but I would say 0. Hep B vaccine is recommended for people who work in schools, etc. I think A is food born and C is sex and needles(blood) and if you could get AIDS from touching a book we would all be dead. Wash your hands a few times a day and before you eat and you will be fine. Perhaps a medical professional will chime in.
