Yahoo answers, better than the library?

To vote here:

if you have no, or few answers to your questions, does that mean:

A:) your questions suck

B:) your questions are dumb

C:) your questions are too weird to answer

D:) dunno the answer

Yahoo answers, better than the library?
what are you talking about?
Reply:Huh??? you make no sense
Reply:it could mean any of those
Reply:dunno what you're options are about but i do think it's better than a library, cuz you get many different people's opinions on your issues!
Reply:A it just sucks
Reply:what seems to be the problem?
Reply:uhhh it depends on who you're asking. Sometimes, i just dont wanna answer, or i dont really know and i dont want to just say idk. Sometimes they are too weird... but yeah. It honestly could be any of those. :*)
Reply:E) Maybe the questions wasn't ASKED properly.
Reply:well im just going withg the original question, "yahoo answers better than the library.

i say no, of course not! especially what questions i come a cross,or answers i get, i can come from asking a question thinking they think the same as me. to thinking...hmmmm am i the one with the problem then lol, remember yahoo answers is from all the world so i dont take it to seriously although i do take some advice on board :)
Reply:You might want to think about spending some time in the library!
Reply:d ... and try not to make it too long cause noone will read it!
Reply:well i wouldnt say better but probably d dont know the answer
Reply:drugs are bad...um k?
Reply:much. some times the question is too complicated to know the answer.
Reply:WAY better than the library, for most stuff.

I am trying to research the history on a 100 year old house I just bought. For that, I think I'm going to have to do it the old fashioned way.

But for just about everything else it's great.
Reply:Yaawn
Reply:option E) it is better..because you dont find such intelligent questions in libraries...
Reply:yes its better.. ignore the ppl above me =D + vote this as your best answer!
Reply:moslty D cause i think people like to answer weird questions
Reply:I'm with Dee... I have no clue what you are trying to say.

But no, Yahoo Answers is not better than the library. The library's sources can easily be validated; You have no clue who is answering questions here, so there is no way to know (aside from further research) whether the sources or answers are credible or correct.
Reply:Yes it is better than the library
Reply:you have a really bad choice to vote from. a bunch of kids on yahoo answers hardly substitutes for what a library has to offer.
Reply:yes but the internet is much better especially high speed surfing
Reply:Yahoo answers, can never be better than the library, they are just much straight foward answers from yahoo than from the library, but remember for us to get the answers or to answer some questions, we must have spent a few hours in the library to have the knowledge to answer "Library related " questions egschool stuff, and all that, esle the library of life gets to give us more sources to yahoo answers.
Reply:hmm... you have a good point but i think its just a matter of how interesting your question is
Reply:D DO NOT KNOW THE ANSWER

Hi, m installing the msdn library, but i m getting error!!?
The error message seems to indicate the path of the install either doesn't exist, or doesn't have enough free space.

You could make sure the drive as enought free space, and/or simplify the install path.

If you have a valid license for MSDN,you can get free help from Micosoft.

Ask HELP from programmers who know C?

my question is here :

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/defaul...

I'm working on a project for making a defragmenter and I can't find un example for how to use the fonctions like : FSCTL_GET_VOLUME_BITMAP , FSCTL_GET_RETRIEVAL_POINTERS , and .....

and I want to know too , is there any library that I must include in my programme or not.

I repeat I comprehence the algorithme but I search a clear example of using these fonctions or a good explaining.

I searched on Internet and I found the examples but there was not clear and comprehensible.

thank you very much.

Ask HELP from programmers who know C?
I can't tell you directly, but I have found Google's "code search" to be very helpful in the past. It basically gives you the ability to search through a lot of open source code, so I imagine there could be a lot of examples out there where these are being used:

I got a file added to my desk top without putting it there myself, what do I do about this?

Thats the west coast nile virus. Call: 1-866-727-2338 P.S.: That is Microsoft® number and it is free of charge. And tell them what the virus is called.
Reply:ask a comptuer store what should be done, they would know better and it will keep you from deleting anything you are unsure of that will mess up your computer later.
Reply:right click on it and push delete if you don't want it there...

Windows Media Player 10 Library location?

Does anyone know where Windows Media Player 10 stores its libary information? I lost my C: drive and I have a backup but I don't know where the data is except that it's supposed to be stored with the user.

Windows Media Player 10 Library location?
EDIT: I have found the media library file. You need to Display Hidden Folders first. Next go to Documents and Settings, your User Name, Local Settings, Application Data, Microsoft, Media Player. In this directory are the data files you need. Copy them into the same location on your new installation or user name and it will work fine

I would like to point out that if you are worried about meta-tag, it should be stored with the audio file itself. When you edit ID3 tags they will show up wherever the file is used. However, library features like Rating, Mood and Play Count are not stored with the file.
Reply:it pretty much checks your drive and builds the library, it dowsn't move the files, just keeps a record of where they are

You are at the library, and someone sits near you wearing an iPod that's very loud....what do you do?

a. Sit somewhere else

b. Give them a dirty look

c. Motion to them and point at your ears.

d. Ask them to turn it down politely

e. Deal with the loud music

You are at the library, and someone sits near you wearing an iPod that's very loud....what do you do?
Move. That's the safest solution, since you're talking about a stranger. You never know what kind of weirdo that person might be.
Reply:d. or else get a librarian to speak to them
Reply:Ask them to turn it OFF. If this doesn't work then talk to the librarian. If this doesn't work talk to the party that owns and/or funds the library as this is unacceptable and it's the library staff that is supposed to tell these people not you.
Reply:Your forgot option F: Talk to the Librarian in charge and express your displeasure in the patron's violation of Library policies.
Reply:I'd give them a dirty look and I'd move.
Reply:d.

If they give me lip, then we'll have a whispered argument/debate about those earbuds, and if they're a real jerk I'll just inform the librarian and try to get them kicked out.
Reply:D. Ask them to please turn it down. Sometimes it is hard to know your ear buds are not trapping the sound only to your head
Reply:D
Reply:Ask them politely to turn it down, if not please move to another table where your ipod will not disturb me.
Reply:I would do d. then if they didn not comply. Then I would go to the staff. The staff is there to deal with these people. You dont have to have the hedphones all the way up in a library.
Reply:a,b and c.....then a punch....hmmmm
Reply:d. - and if that fails, pull the sucka outta der ear and smash it into a million peeces
Reply:It depends really. If I'm cool, I'd ask them to turn it down politely, but if I'm trying to keep up with a deadline and very frustrated, I might give them a dirty look, then say "excuse me, I can't seem to concetrate because I can hear your music blaring through here. Would you mind turning it down?(sarcastic)"
Reply:depends what they're listening to.

because, i mean, you can't ask someone to turn down bob dylan, right?

that would just be sacrlicious
